Privacy Policy

Effective date: February 20, 2026

Morning Person ("the App") is developed by Kristian Rue. This policy describes how the App handles your data.

Data we collect

The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us or third parties. There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the App.

Data stored on your device

The App stores your sleep goals, alarm preferences, progress, streaks, and achievements locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud Sync.

iCloud Sync

Pro subscribers can opt into iCloud Sync, which stores your progress data in your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is not accessible to us.

HealthKit

With your permission, the App reads step count data from Apple Health to verify that you are awake. The App does not write to HealthKit. Step data is queried on-device and is never stored, transmitted, or shared.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Notifications

The App uses local notifications to deliver alarms. These are scheduled on-device and do not involve any external servers.

Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
